Projects
We want to install several offshore wind farms in the Deutsche Bucht. In the first phase we have planned 3 farms with 80 five megawatt turbines each. The permit for the project “Bard Offshore 1” has already been obtained.
In Germany the production of electricity from nuclear energy is being reduced continuously and is supposed to end by the year 2020. In parallel the emission of green house gases has to be reduced substantially. These targets challenge us all to access sources of primary energy whose use does not set free additional green houses gases. Our offshore wind energy projects will provide a significant contribution towards this target and will help to slow down climate change.
All our planned wind farms are so distant from the coast and the islands that they will not be able to be seen by the naked eye. During the installation and operation of the wind power plants we will strictly observe all the needs of the environment and nature worthy of protection.
